LONG BEACH, Calif., Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Halbert Hargrove, a fiduciary investment management and wealth advisory firm headquartered in Long Beach, California, is capping off a celebration of the company’s 85th anniversary with the announcement of five new hires and the firm’s inclusion in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” list.
The “Best Places to Work in Los Angeles” award honors the best employers in Los Angeles, benefiting the county’s economy, workforce and businesses. This marks the second consecutive year Halbert Hargrove received the award, which is in its 12th year.

Halbert Hargrove also made five strategic new hires in recent months across multiple offices:
Cheryl Burgmaier is a regional director in Halbert Hargrove’s Houston office, with a dual role as a CPA at Langley O’Grady. She joins the firm with more than 20 years of public and private accounting experience and was previously the owner of a New Mexico CPA firm since 2004. Cheryl has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the State University of New York, College at Oswego.
Samantha Garcia is a wealth advisor in Halbert Hargrove’s Long Beach office. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™professional and previously worked as a financial advisor at Asset Planning, Inc. Prior to that she was a staff accountant at Soffa Industries, Inc. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Azusa Pacific University and a Master of Business Administration, Finance from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Vincent Birardi is a wealth advisor in the firm’s Long Beach office. He previously served as a vice president at PIMCO where he was entrusted with developing client data quality and governance standards to benefit executive office and senior client management teams. Prior to that, he served as a vice president of CRM and enterprise collaboration and product management at Morgan Stanley. He has a Bachelor of Science from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in finance and a Master of Science in information systems from Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
