Craig T. Cross Family

Craig is a Managing Director and Co-founder of Halbert Hargrove in Long Beach. He has been advising HH clients for more than four decades. Craig loves this work; he especially enjoys “the interactions I’m able to have with a broadly diversified group of truly nice and interesting clients and centers of influence.”

His background includes work with a United States Senator in Washington, D.C. and as a prime aide to the 1974 California Gubernatorial Nominee, Houston Flournoy. From 1975 to 1979, he was responsible for raising athletic scholarship support funds at California State University, Long Beach.

Craig earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Stanford University in 1973. He earned the ACCREDITED INVESTMENT FIDUCIARY™ designation from the University of Pittsburgh-affiliated Center for Fiduciary Studies.

Some things about Craig that most people don’t know: He ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain. He has thrown out a first pitch at Angels Stadium. And he’s proud to say he’s attended both a Navy SEALS and a TOPGUN graduation. The accomplishments he is most proud of: His three children, who have completed their undergraduate studies at Chapman University, Stanford University, and the University of Arizona.

Craig is a member of the Ethics Leadership Cabinet Providence Healthcare System in Portland, Oregon. He is a member of Long Beach Rotary, the Long Beach Rotary Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors and Chair of the Investment Committee.

Fun Fact

I’m an Angels season ticket holder. One Father’s Day at Angels Stadium I ran (!) the bases “safely” with my daughter Chelsea. I’ve also thrown out the First Pitch.  And I follow horse polo!
