Halbert Hargrove has announced a new chief executive officer and other key movements in its senior leadership.
The Long Beach, California-based registered investment advisor firm has promoted its president and chief operating officer, JC Abusaid, to CEO. Chairman and former CEO Russ Hill will stay on as chairman of the firm.
Cecilia Williams, previously the firm’s director of investment operations, has taken over as COO.
Kelli Kiemle has been named managing director of growth and client experience. In her newly created role, Kiemle will oversee the firm’s marketing and communications initiatives, as well the firm’s sales efforts. She was previously the director of marketing and client experience.
The firm revealed the senior leadership changes along with an announcement that it has reached $3 billion in client assets.
Abusaid has been with the firm for 25 years. He has been working closely with Williams and Kiemle, who have each been with the firm for 15 years.
Williams was previously responsible for managing the firm’s institutional trading partner relationships.
Kiemle was previously responsible for setting the tone of client service relationships and oversaw the firm’s marketing and communications initiatives.
