Why I Love My Job
I’m fortunate to hold a job of this stature at my age. Halbert Hargrove took a chance on me right out of college, and I can never express how grateful I am for the opportunity. My work not only allows me to better myself – it also gives me the opportunity to play a part in bettering others’ financial futures.
Ethan was promoted to Associate Wealth Advisor with our Long Beach team in 2025. In this role, he helps in preparing and delivering key components of the financial planning process. He collaborates with clients on all aspects of financial planning and investment management, addressing areas such as retirement, insurance, education funding, estate planning, and tax strategies. His responsibilities are diverse, ranging from responding to client inquiries and concerns about their finances to preparing HH reviews, analytics, and tailored presentations.
Ethan is people-oriented and values strong relationships. “I really enjoy working closely with others, especially in the team role I have here,” he says. He joined our Long Beach office in 2021 and was promoted to Senior Client Service Manager in 2024.
He earned a B.S. in Finance at California State University, Long Beach, in 2021 and completed his Master of Science degree in Finance, also through Cal State Long Beach, in August 2022.
When he’s not working, you’ll find Ethan spending time with friends and family, going to the beach, traveling – and watching sports.
